Dammit.
She's going to make us say that thing again; that thing we hate saying.
There's a lot to like about this look. The vivid pink is very in right now, the lovely silhouette and proportions are very frilly and girly. The velvet bow we could do without but the accessories are nice, if a bit standard. The problem is she's too old for this. There. We said it.
She's got the bod; she's got the face; she's got the hair; no one's suggesting she retire to the matronly section of the store. She can still do feminine and flirty, sexy and sultry for as long as she wants. She just can't do it in this dress. Once again, this is when a blunt gay with a heart of gold would have come in handy with the speech they teach us in The Handbook: "Sweetie, this dress is not your dress. This is some other girl's dress. Your dress is still out there, just waiting for you to give it a home. Put this one back so the right girl can find it. You're doing the right thing. You'll both be happier."
Adorable dress, really. It's just that it should be worn by Vanessa Hudgens or Selena Gomez or Dakota Fanning. There's girly, and there's little-girly. Maybe in a more grownup color and without the straps and bow Kristin could rock the dress, but for now we can't help but give this look an OUT.
And we really wish she'd go for a hair change. Even a little one.
