Darlings, Tina Fey is on the cover of InStyle magazine's April 2011 issue, photographed by David Slijper and we're a little confused.
We keep looking at this picture, then checking the date, then checking the title of the magazine because we're having a hard time believing this isn't a 1986 cover for some children's magazine like Dynamite!
Don't get us wrong, she looks cute from the neck up, but something about those clothes, with the word COLOR emblazoned over them makes us think if we flip inside she's going to show us how to make puppets out of toilet paper rolls, felt, and shoelaces. She's totally giving off "PBS children's craft show hostess" here.

The clothes are nice enough on their own, and like we said, she looks pretty on the cover, but the combinations of pose, color, and typeface are all saying "Ask a parent for permission to use scissors!"
Then again, if we spent all day showing kids how to have fun with trash and glue, we'd want to let our hair down and do a couple rails with Liza and Mick too.
